Founding Story

Backlinked’s journey began in 2015 with Simon Zahn, working out of a small bedroom, offering web design and marketing services.

Every time Zahn and his team worked on SEO, they realized there wasn’t a link marketplace in Germany that met our needs.

So, they took a bold leap and invested everything into building their own platform. As a result, in 2019, Backlinked.com was born.

Today, with over 85,000 listings, Backlinked is Germany’s largest link-building marketplace.

Our Review

To provide a well-rounded review, we created a backlinked.com account to check their guest-posting marketplace in detail. We checked the listings, data and metrics provided, interface ease-of-use, checkout, and overall experience with the platform.

We also contacted their support team with further queries.

Here’s what we thought of the platform.

Interface

Backlinked has a simple marketplace interface. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate.

But, I wish they provided more data points on publisher sites. They do show key data like—domain authority metrics (except for Semrush AS), estimated organic traffic, and the traffic trend.

However, there are a lot more metrics that are missing. And ones you expect a link-building marketplace to provide

For instance, there is no traffic share by country. Traffic geo-distribution matters since a business in Canada with most of its traffic from Asia is not desirable. While technically, the traffic figures look good, if you dig deep, they aren’t.

In addition, the platform’s filtering options do not have many advanced features. 

What users say

I didn’t find any reviews for Backlinked on Trustpilot. So, I can’t really understand what other users thought of the platform. I even checked other review sites and forums like Reddit, and didn’t find much insights.

But, we did contact their support team with some queries. The response was decent and reasonably helpful.
