What is Outreach Monks?

Outreach Monks is a link-building service provider. They offer blogger outreach, guest posts, white-label links, and local citation services.

Founded in 2017, Outreach Monks completely focuses on link-building and does not dilute its offering with other SEO services. I became aware of them because of their outreach team. They mailed me to purchase backlinks from our website, and that’s how I got to know about them.

While Outreach Monks are probably less known than other link-building services like the HOTH or Fatjoe. But they are also quite active.

We purchased a backlink from Outreach Monks, and here’s our honest review of their service.

Once we got to know about Outreach Monks, we wanted to try their link-building services.

We went with the Blogger Outreach for a link placement.

And here’s what their pricing looks like:

One can choose the link pricing based on either the site DR (Ahrefs Domain Rating) or the site traffic.

This is a no-brainer. Site traffic is the way to go.

Domain Rating (DR), on the other hand, is an unreliable metric and can be manipulated easily. A new domain can get a DR of 50+ by paying “DR hackers” $50!

What We Ordered

So, we went ahead to purchase a link from a site with 1000+ monthly traffic, which is priced at $129.

What Was Delivered

Here’s our opinion on the link delivered:

#1. Delivery Time

We placed the order on 30 January 2025 and received the link on 02 February 2025.

Outreach Monks took just three days to deliver the link placement, which was really fast.

For context, Fatjoe took 25 days and the HOTH took five days (which we thought was fast). Outreach Monks delivered in just three days. So, good job on link delivery!

#2. Published Article Quality

We checked the article that’s linking to us.

The article has 800+ words, more than the promised 750-word limit.

However, the article seems AI-generated. We checked the content with two AI detectors.

Most importantly, the content reads like an AI for the human eye. The article is definitely AI-written.

This was disappointing, especially considering how Outreach Monks fared well compared to other link-building services.

The anchor text and article links to our intended website are fine. The URL is indexable as well. So, no complaints there.

#3. Site Quality

The site seems to be decent. Something that’s rare in the link-building circles.

The site has a DR of 37 and an AS of 28. But more importantly, its monthly traffic is 1.5K, which is good and more than 1K as promised by Outreach Monks. Great result!

Our previous link-building experiences have been poor when it comes to the publisher site quality. Often, these sites have high Moz DA and Ahrefs DR metrics, which are usually inflated. And the site traffic is either dying or is at near zero already.

This site, on the contrary, has decent monthly traffic and a good Semrush AS score, which is a far more reliable metric.

Overall, the publisher site is in good shape and quality. Outreach Monks gets a thumbs-up for this.

#4. Value for Price

We also checked the link price from the same publisher site on other platforms.

The publisher site is not readily available on guest-posting marketplaces.

The only platform that provided link placement from this site was Loganix. But it’s too costly there, with the link price at $409.

Outreach Monks got us a backlink from this site for $129, which is great!

Even from other link-builders’ perspectives, Outreach Monks did a great job. We paid much higher prices for backlinks from much poorer sites with other link-building platforms. Looking at you, Fatjoe and the HOTH.

To sum up, the value for price and the quality of the link delivered is really high. We liked the service from Outreach Monks.

Bottomline

We consider Outreach Monks a legit link-building service provider. We are impressed by their clear pricing based on site traffic, fast delivery times, and publisher site quality. The value for the price is great, too, especially compared to other link-builders who quote higher prices for low-quality backlinks.

Our only gripe is the AI-written content. While the link placement is good, the content the link is placed in is poor.

Overall, we feel Outreach Monks is a solid link-building platform that’s better than most marketplaces out there.
