WhitePress Review (2025)

What is WhitePress? WhitePress.com is a guest-post and link-building marketplace with more than 100K listings

What is WhitePress?

WhitePress.com is a guest-post and link-building marketplace with more than 100K listings on its platform. It also provides content copywriting and link management services.

WhitePress was founded in 2013 by Paweł Strykowski along with his CTO, Tomek Kwaśny. Pawel was fed up with the tedious link-building process and came up with the idea of creating a platform that would allow promotional content to be published on other sites and acquire links.

This review aims to check if WhitePress is legit.

I tested the platform, used it, checked the publisher site metrics, and even contacted their support team with queries to give you an honest review about this platform. I have also tested other marketplaces and ranked the top link-building marketplaces here.

Founding Story

Paweł Strykowski founded WhitePress in 2014 in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. The idea came to Pawel after experiencing a two-month lead time to get media coverage for his digital marketing business. Frustrated by the process, he partnered with Tomek Kwaśny to launch WhitePress. A platform to simplify media outreach with transparent terms and pricing—so placements would take days, not months.

WhitePress quickly gained traction in Poland among SEO and PR agencies. By 2016, the business was growing fast, and the founders raised funds by selling 70% of their shares to support international expansion.

In 2019, Tomasz Domański was hired as the Head of International Operations to lead the growth abroad. Soon, WhitePress grew in Central and Eastern Europe, later expanding to Western Europe (the Netherlands and the UK). In 2021, a new investor consolidated 100% ownership, and the business has continued expanding globally.

Today, WhitePress has a team of over 200 people, with its headquarters still in Poland. The team members operate in more than 30 countries, dealing with local clients and publishers, and providing support in the local language. WhitePress’s competitive advantage is its pricing transparency. With no hidden costs or commissions, buyers pay precisely what they see in the database.

Interface

The first thing I love about WhitePress is its exhaustive filter options.

The user can filter publisher sites based on traffic, different authority metrics (Semrush AS, Ahrefs DR, MozDA, and Majestic TF), publishing speed, the ratio of domains linking to the site to the domains linking out, and many more.

- xamsor

The platforms show all the key metrics for publisher sites. GA traffic, organic traffic estimates, authority metrics from all the essential tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Majestic), traffic trend, geo-distribution, and even average publish time and publisher content assessment.

One thing I didn’t like was that the platform felt unintuitive. You can’t easily see the catalog of publisher websites unless you log in and detail your project. Again, this might be by design—to weed out non-serious marketers. But for a new visitor, it can be pretty confusing.

Buying backlinks

Next, I tested If I am going to purchase a guest post, I would have a specific requirements and criteria in place to choose the website. As a user, I want to promote my Content Audit Tool on a truly authoritative website.

So here are my criteria in choosing the links:

  1. The publisher site must receive more than 1,000 monthly organic traffic. I want a Google-recognized site.
  2. The traffic is stable or growing. Must not be in a decline.
  3. Majority of the traffic should come from the US. My site and business caters to the US market, so I expect the same.
  4. The site should be relevant to my industry. Or in the same category. A cooking website isn’t the best place to promote an SEO SaaS tool.
  5. I want a Semrush Authority Score (AS) higher than my website’s, which is 24 as of today. Moz DA can be manipulatedAhrefs DR can be manipulated. These legacy metrics have fallen prey to the “DR hackers.”
  6. I prefer the content publisher or platform copywriter to create content following their guidelines, using my input as the foundation.
  7. Lastly, I want to spend $200 or less on my backlink. Price matters.

With these criteria in mind, I set out to filter the sites.

As I said above, WhitePress has top-tier filters. I was able to filter for all the things I was looking for (except for traffic trend – for which again, I don’t expect a filter).

- xamsor

I found plenty of sites that checked my boxes.

This was, hands down, the fastest I was able to filter sites fulfilling my criteria. Needless to say, Whitepress has robust filters and arguably the best out of all the other marketplaces.

Data accuracy

Next, I checked a few random websites to vet the data provided. Since WhitePress has integrated with all the major SEO tools, I had all the data required on the platform itself.

- xamsor

The only discrepancy I found was the country filter. I had filtered for US sites and expected the site to have most of its traffic coming from the US. But clearly, that isn’t the case. Here are the top countries by traffic for one of the US sites:

Apart from this one hiccup, WhitePress is a top-quality link-building marketplace.

Customer support speed and quality

To check the company’s support quality, we submitted an anonymous support request asking about how to use filters.

We received a prompt and reasonably detailed response. Appreciate it!

Public reviews responsiveness

WhitePress does not have many reviews on Trustpilot. But whatever it has is quite a mixed bag.

Based on angry Trustpilot reviews, the platform cleans up publisher sites that do not fulfill its quality criteria, which is excellent for users!

On the negative side – reviews are never answered.

Founders accessibility

We love talking to founders about their products and requested a short interview from all the rating participants. Unfortunately, WhitePress declined our request. So, we couldn’t gather any additional insights from its founders.

WhitePress alternatives

We have listed and ranked WhitePress alternatives on our worldwide guest-post marketplace rankings list. You can check them out.

Bottom line

We definitely consider WhitePress.com to be one of the market leaders and a legitimate website, despite some minor flaws. The filtering is robust, and the data metrics about publisher sites are accurate. Overall, we deem WhitePress to be a reliable and one of the top guest-posting marketplaces out there.
